MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS: Members must be at least 21 years old and not married, engaged, or in a committed relationship. Each member must agree to participate in one event each year. A one-time, non-refundable membership fee of $25 is all that’s required! (The fee covers the cost of operation, such as website hosting, marketing, advertising, is used for donations to non-profit causes in the SVCC name, and also supports our quarterly membership meetings.)
A LITTLE HISTORY: Single Volunteers was started by Ann Lusk in Burlington, Vermont in 1995 and now has approximately 30 chapters in the U.S., Canada, and Costa Rica. Single Volunteers of Cape Cod is affiliated with the national organization, but is a stand-alone group that organizes its own projects and develops its own membership practices. Both social and service activities are planned during the year. Details are listed on our Calendar of Events page as they are confirmed.
AN INVITATION: We invite you to join us for service and socializing and to tell your “single” friends about SVCapeCod. We look forward to meeting other single Cape Codders who are interested in helping our community through volunteer service.
